The title of this column is due to a friend who vibrates in the networks thanks to his nationalist position in defense of Venezuelan oil... today in strange hands.
We talked to several people and one of them complained to me because supposedly "one week I attacked the opposition... and the next I attacked the government".
The least he called me was "guabinoso"... something that does not go with my personality.
And that's what we were in when the friend who vibrates claiming the claim of whoever says he always reads me, settled expressing that I am independent, liberal and always write in the national interest.
Corollary: the national interest is not on the side that one likes... and opining compels.
Certainly when I choose the topic to be written, he avoided as much as possible to get me into the bochinche of "what people want" where weekly a caterva of opinionators who make predictions never fulfilled... repeat the common places that can be heard "at the corner kiosk"... where the chain of polarization begins based on the lack of debate and the lies aired as absolute truths.
And so opinion is often what does not go beyond propaganda or advertising.
Being independent and liberal allows me in a week to qualify as an act of piracy what happened on January 3... but without accusing anyone of "traitor" because I do not believe that politics follows telenovela guidelines... but also when it happens I remember that Mrs. Machado shouted for foreign troops to invade us since that way and that statement was considered, "prophecy"... it would rain the dollars... that are not even on the horizon.
The national interest is not a matter of electoral campaigns that in an invaded country are meaningless.
The national interest is to warn that if it is not clarified in time... the remedy will be worse than the disease.
The national interest is to remember that our education today is in undeserved hands... or at least well below the demands of a position held by proven citizens of proven excellence such as Prieto Figueroa, Uslar Pietri, Siso Martínez, Calvani and so on.
The national interest requires clarifying before praising or cursing the Agreement... that the signatories are doubtful and not because Delcy Rodríguez is not President... but because the promoter of this document has signed peace agreements with Iran several times... and the next day retracts.
It is in the national interest to point out the neo tycoon who also signs... as a pillo.
Do not be angry as the Spaniards say: I will continue to write in the national interest, especially because the moment warrants it.
